Centre of Medical Specialities, L.c. (“Centro de Especialidades Médicas, S.L.), was founded as a such on 17 of November 1994.
Our aims are management, planning and providing of health services on the island of Fuerteventura and to contribute to the development and improvement of the quality of the life, not only for its population, but for all a lot of visitors, that number is constantly increasing. The values that support our activity are honesty, loyalty, sincerity and respect. our style of work tries to support the participation, teamwork and commitment with the organisation and the social environment of Fuerteventura.

Our aims are management, planning and providing of health services on the Island of Fuerteventura and to contribute to the development and improvement of the quality of life, not only for its population, but for all a lot visitors, that number is constantly increasing. The values that support our activity are honesty, loyalty, sincerity and respect. Our style of work tries to support the participation, teamwork, and commitment with the organisation and the social environment of Fuerteventura.

The social and health precariousness suffered by the islanders in the past, prevailing shortage of the services available on the island, as well as implementing of a new models of managemente of health care, led this company to create anew number of services suitable for resident and non-resident population, without any preceding on Fuerteventura.

Recording the tourist sector we developed the complete health care system concerning social-health assistance for national and foreign tourists by means of insurance, under insurance or private policies, as well as technical hygienic-sanitary consulting within hotel establishments, which acommodates them ( water, soil and food control ).

Our continuos involvement in the social environmente and its problems, with the support of the Island population, has facilitated our participation and co-operation with different institutions such as Island Council of Fuerteventura ( FEAGA, Wind-/Kitesurf World Championships ), Town Council of Pájara, Red Cross, Police Station of National Police ( attention of inmigrants ), C.P. Morro Jable and El Ciervo ( Flying without the borders ), Spanish Army – RIL Soria 9 ( FUDENAS ), anf Fuerteventura´s mass media ( television, newspapers and radio ).

Cem is the company, wich was founded and developed on Fuerteventura twenty years ago. We show at every moment our loyalty to the company policy, we have created a flexible company organisation, dynamic and committed to local needs of the Island, we have established the network of social assistance and healthcare, always taking into consideration the economy, social and territorial particularities of Fuerteventura.

Morro Jable and El Ciervo (“Flying without the borders”) and Fuerteventura’s mass media (Television, news papers and radio).
